Both developed countries and developing countries need to cut emissions, or get on to a low emissions pathway FAST. Developing countries need to do this while bringing people out of poverty and giving people access to energy, which is a huge challenge, according to climate policy analyst Glen Peters, researcher at CICERO Senter for klimaforskning and a member of the SMART-project.
