Nyenrode Business Universiteit is the only private university in the Netherlands. Nyenrode Business University is a limited liability company fully owned by the Nyenrode Foundation. Nyenrode is the Dutch market leader in customized executive education, providing more than 50 customized programs and 65 open enrollment programs, contributing to the education of 7,500 executives annually. Furthermore about 4,500 students are following one of the degree programs at Nyenrode,accredited by the Dutch Ministry of Education, by AMBA and by EQUIS. Nyenrode’s central values, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Stewardship, are deeply ingrained in its DNA.
Nyenrode will contribute to the SMART project through the Center for Entrepreneurship, Governance and Stewardship (CES) and its highly experienced research management team. The CES center has a long standing tradition of research and policy development programmes at the interface of Governance and Managerial Decision Making. Nyenrode will take responsibility for the Project Management of WP3: Life Cycle Analysis in the Ready Made Garment Industry where the expertise of professor Lambooy and her team will be employed. Furthermore Nyenrode will participate in the coordination and alignment with the other Work Packages in the SMART programme and work together in the execution of WP3 with the BGMEA University of Fashion and Trade (BUFT) from Bangladesh.
