Turku School of Economics (TSE) conducts research and education in business studies. The Research and teaching of Business Law is conducted within the Department of Accounting and Finance. Responsibility (or CSR) is a central issue in the strategy and one of main focus themes in the research and teaching, with several Master’s and Doctoral theses. TSE, represented by Professor Reijo Knuutinen, will contribute to the SMART project with a paper on the role of tax law in the design of corporate structures, supply chains and logistics and its potential as incentive or disincentive for businesses to make environmentally and socially sustainable decisions.
